Default Allergic to plastic eyewear?

When I was younger I was fitted for a pair of eyeglasses and found that my eyes would burn and tear up. I recently purchased a pair of cheap sunglasses that do not have that affect on my eyes. Other pairs I tried on did make my eyes burn. Is this common at all? Maybe it's the polycarbonate?

you are probably allergic to latex. Which is sometimes used to make the soft nose pieces in the form of latex rubber. Latex allergy is pretty common.

Cool

maybe you need those sunglasses which has the prescription, to be safe and if you really like wearing them, its good to go for a check up so your eyes are in good and safe status.

How could this happen? Your eyeglasses do not contact your eyeballs directly. I think there may be other reasons for your situation.
