about them I was suppose to wear glasses from the time I was 9(they broke) I remember my mom wearing glasses those sally jessy ones. I hated her glasses, my glasses, everybody that wore glasses. She use to say things like see mommy wearing them, made me hate them even more.Ive been getting my eyes checks like every year for a good amount of years. When ppl see me with glasses they say something like, you look studios, smart all that dumb stuff (thinking I have them for fashion). Then when they see the medicine in my glasses, it hurt my feelings at first they thought it was a fashion statement I was making, now they see me as being blind.I wonder why I hate wearing glasses Im old enough to afford designer glasses but I dont want to pay 200.00 dollars on glasses Im not going to wear.I dont ,wont do contancts cause I dont like to bother with them, which is strange cause I do wear color contacts and I also love to wear sunglasses, have a collection of them.glasses do make everything look more clearer and focus, sharp I should say. I can do without them but I just like to look at things clearer.Why do I HATE GLASSES SO MUCH!!!

It is a very queer feeling you hold which is a bias of emotion. I feel it is the compliment which you take negatively, which most of the world appreciates as being called smart/ studious(maybe due to some personal experience). These feelings you may have projected on your mother and have aroused a similar feeling (as an extrapolation of your own thought). Clarification of you feeling/ thought with your mother may help you.I think you should be more positive towards yourself or appreciate the positive compliments you get. In some cases constant wear of glasses is essential otherwise it affects the eyesight further. Briefly said... be comfortable with yourself and take life easy!

You have the following options:1. Try doing eye exercises or the Bates method if you want to improve your vision naturally (google to find ut more info)2. Use Pinhole glasses (they are like sunglasses with holes in them)3. Use contacts4. Go without glasses/correction if you can manage without them5. Wear glasses! (I hate using them myself!)

glasses isn't bad wearing on, but with your situation its just that your mom is also wearing those and some f your friends saw you wear sunglasses too, its not bad explaining to them why you have to wear those and try this site, if its expensive and worthless, many will not mind if your wearing sunglasses.
