Another identify these sunglasses(vintage)

Acquired these from my Dad years ago. He said they were special made way back when (circa 1940's maybe?). Anyway I've been trying to id them for a while of and on. Thought maybe someone here might be able to help. Thanks.

Can't see the speical base on the pics attached, but I believe it is special

Its an old vision of Aviator but if they are special or not is diffecult to say!

there ray ban's!!

after running the photos through an extremely complex algarithmic programs ive reconstructed the forth picture from the left and the missing 1/8" piece on the paper it says ray ban!!!

im a genius!

best bet though if you want to know the exact model is to call and email pictures to ray ban since we now know they are ray ban's. if it was just the first picture i doubt anyone could figure it out. also make up some story about sentimental value or a dead relative or something so they are more prone to actually getting back to you
