Hi everyone, I am writing this to advise you not to buy Costa del mar glasses unless you would like a pair of glasses that break easy and have absolutely no warranty (even though they claim a life time warranty). The first pair of Costa glasses that I paid $250 fell of the coffee table and cracked a lens I sent them to Costa, I had to pay $10 shipping each way and $150 for new lens (not prescription). It is hard to believe that there cost price for lenses is $150. After that I said no more Costa's but my wife picked me up a pair for Christmas and I have babied them only wearing them for fishing. I was leaning over and the glasses came apart at the hinge as I was wearing them, I did not drop them bang them or damage them in any way they just came apart. I sent them in to Costa and they have told me that it wasn't the manufactures fault and I have to pay for a new arm on the glasses and it will be $33 plus shipping. I have since spoken to the production manager and some other so called decision maker and even though there is no visible signs of damage (cracks, scratches or stress marks on the frame) they still will not warranty the glasses. This is the worst customer service I have ever come across and I hope I save you the trouble of going through this by buying some other brand. I wish I had read the forums before I bought Costa's as you can see many other people have had problems.
