NFL Week 9 Handicapping Point Spread Picks Roundup
Well NFL week 9 is almost in the books and so ends another week of watching our professional picks come out on top. Our readers were surely happy again this week as we went 3-0 with our famous best bets package. During our ten years in business,Google (http://www.google.com), our NFL weekly best bets have come in with a winning percentage of 63 percent which surely have made our subscribers lots of money. This weekend we released our usual five best bets and during Sunday afternoon we hit with the the following teams.
New Orleans Saints (-3): The Saints were our strongest pick this week and they demonstrated why on Sunday by destroying a solid Jacksonville team at home. We focused on this game heavily due to a number of factors. Primarily, we believed the Saints would resort to a pass-heavy attack against a solid Jaguars run defense and thats exactly what unfolded. Saints QB Drew Brees passed for over 400 yards and threw for three TD's. Easy win there.
Houston Texans (+3): We heard a lot of concern from our subscribers this week about this game, mainly asking us if we were crazy. After all the Texans have been awful lately and they were going on the road. Well we liked this game for a number of reasons. The Raiders have been just as bad lately and when teams struggle, they tend to play tight at home in front of the unhappy crowd. The Texans on the other hand were starting QB Sage Rosenfels who has the type of no-fear, gun-slinger mentality that this team needs to give it a boost. The Texans came out fast as they passed their way to a 14-0 lead and then proceeded to hold off a late rally by Oakland to achieve the win. These are the types of wins that have made us a respected name in the industry. Lean with a terrible team in a rough situation and have the guts to go against the grain. These are always our greatest victories.
Indianapolis Colts (+5): We loved this game and again we were questioned by our readers. How could you bet against the juggernaut Patriots when they were 8-0 ATS and winning their games by over a 20-point margin. The reason we liked it so much was because never before has an undefeated, defending Super Bowl champion been a home underdog. The Colts surely were ticked off at that type of snub and they came out and played very tough and had NE on the ropes. The Patriots are awesome but no team has ever gone undefeated against the spread and this was the spot we knew they would lose in that regard.
So there you have it. This was the line of thinking that went into these winners and we wanted to give you an idea of how we came about these choices. We will be at it once again this week in search of more winners for our readers. Good luck.
