I have had four pairs of Maui Jim 'Sandy Beach' sunglasses. They are the only sunglasses that seem to fit me properly.
Every pair seems to crack where the lenses are screwed to the bridge of the glasses. The pair I have now is only a few months old and it is already cracking on the right lens. I had my last pair for a year and both lenses were completely cracked.
Maui jim wants me to send them for repair and include $25 for shipping, ect. They say it will take 2 weeks. This is totally unacceptable, my sunglasses shouldn't need $25 and two weeks of repair for every 2 months of use. Last time, I just purchased some new ones at Sunglasses hut and returned the old ones with the new receipt. I hate to do this again because I do not know who ultimately gets screwed with the broken glasses.
How can I stop them from doing this///what should I do?
