El día después de los momentos especiales es el más extraño. La satisfacción y la nostalgia se alían para situar el recuerdo en un lugar lejano, como si, de haber pasado, hubiera ocurrido hace mucho y en otro lugar.
Ayer acabó la transalpine. Hubo fiesta, abrazos y entrega de la camiseta ‘I am a Finisher’ a todos los que han conseguido acabar la carrera sin ayuda. Algunos dudaron si pedir una talla más, hinchados de orgullo –y con motivo- cuando les recibían sus hijos al bajar del escenario donde repartían la camiseta trofeo. No era para menos. Una de cada tres parejas ha quedado fuera de juego en la edición más dura de la Gore Tex Transalpine Run. Hasta 80 parejas eliminadas.
Pero algunos de los corredores que tuvieron que abandonar ayer también se llevaron su camiseta. No era una camiseta real. Ni si quiera podría decir el color ni la talla, pero sí se podía descubrir en la mirada que la llevaban puesta. Y eran ojos de “el año que viene lo volveremos a intentar”. De cuenta pendiente con uno mismo. La suerte es que los Alpes seguirán ahí.
En nuestro caso, aunque no hayamos conseguido acabar, hace días que notamos que alguien, sin avisar, nos colocó esa camiseta invisible. No éramos atletas, jamás habíamos participado en una carrera, pero luchamos por intentarlo y para contarlo. Y sufrimos, nos emocionamos en la línea de salida y recibimos aplausos de ángeles anónimos para sentirnos corredores por primera vez. Y nos convencimos de que la próxima vez sí podrá ser.
Porque, en realidad,ray ban 3211, lo mejor de la carrera ya nos atrapó hace semanas. Cuando, días antes de viajar a los Alpes, salía a correr por Collserola,ray band, no había nada peor en el mundo que los 43 escalones que debía subir para regresar mi casa. Después de un par de horas de entreno, las piernas pesaban una eternidad mientras avanzaba lentamente hacia el tercer piso. Las escaleras se hacían interminables. Pero al llegar, invariablemente, me daba la bienvenida un beso de quien siempre olvida que estás sudado por las ganas de abrazar. Y eso, en realidad,montures de lunettes ray ban, es lo mejor de salir a correr. Esas personas que comparten contigo el sueño de conquistar algo tan imposible como inútil y sólo piden a cambio un abrazo. Y encima te animan a intentarlo otra vez.
Y yo, igual que muchos de los que ayer dejaron una cuenta pendiente en las montañas, estoy deseando subir de nuevo esos 43 escalones.

Edward Kennedy addresses Democratic National ConventionWorld leaders are honoring veteran U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy who died at 77,christian louboutin, after a long battle with a brain tumor. The senator was the brother of former President John F. Kennedy.
On the world stage, Ted Kennedy had a lot of friends and his passing has generated a long list of warm, heartfelt condolences.
In nearly 50 years in the Senate, Kennedy, a liberal Democrat, served alongside 10 presidents, his brother John Fitzgerald Kennedy among them. He was known for his legislative achievements on health care,dolce gabbana, civil rights, education, immigration and more.
From Australia, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd summed up his sentiments.
"Ted Kennedy was a great American, a great Democrat, but also a great friend of Australia,ray ban," said Kevin Rudd. "He has made an extraordinary contribution to American politics, an extraordinary contribution to America's role in the world."
In London, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Senator Kennedy was admired around the world and he would be mourned on every continent.
Former British leader Tony Blair said Kennedy inspired devotion and respect everywhere. Mr. Blair specifically noted his role in helping to navigate the negotiations that led to a lasting peace in Northern Ireland.
U.S. Ambassador to Britain Louis Susman called Kennedy a lion in the Senate. A person, Susman added,lunettes ray ban, who was beloved and trusted on both sides of the [political] aisle, and one who had a marvelous capacity to bring people together.
In Ramallah in the West Bank, former President Jimmy Carter spoke to the BBC about the man he knew for a long time.
"Well,mercurial vapor, like all Americans, and I think people around the world, we are distressed at the death of a great man," said Jimmy Carter. "I think that among all the members of our U.S. Senate and the Congress of the United States, he has been preeminent. He has been staunch, and honest and open,abercrombie, and very able to express his views to the American people. And my own hope is that his deep commitment to a comprehensive health plan in our country will be honored now by his contemporaries, by his peers, in the near future."
Mr. Carter said Kennedy was someone who worked tirelessly for the under privileged.
"I think Ted Kennedy, although he came from a very affluent family,louboutin, a very prominent family, successful in politics, I think his first commitment was always to the people who were most in need,louboutin pas cher," he said. "And he worked for those who were deprived in the American society and not only did he work for them, but he was very effective in his legislative work."
