Default NEED HELP! Replacing Rayban 2140 Wayfarer lenses.

Recently a pair of my favourite polarized 2140 Wayfarers fell on the ground and a massive scratch that impaired my vision formed on the left lens.

I thought, "Eh, that sucks.", but I had another pair of polarized Wayfarers that I wasn't the biggest fan of and thought I'd just swap the lens.

Nope. I could not get the lens to pop out of either of them at all, I tried soaking them in hot water, boiling them, and nothing.

I even took them to two different optometrist stores and had them heat up the glasses, but neither one of them could pop out the lens either.

I watched YouTube videos on how to do it, and HOW DO THEY DO IT SO EASILY?!

Anyways, whilst trying to get the scratched lens out, I ended up shattering the glass, I was bummed, but I thought if I could get the good lens out of the other pair, I'd be sweet.

Nope, I ended up shattering those lens too. ARGH.

So, now I have two pairs of Wayfarers both missing the left lens. What the hell? I read so many tutorials on how to do it, and it just didn't work.

It really sucks, but I plan on buying some authentic polarized replacement lens, my only issue is,

If I couldn't pop the lens out without breaking them, how am I going to pop them back in? I'm so worried that I'll buy the replacement ones and just break them too, and it seems optometrist in my town can properly do it either, and getting them replaced at sunglasses Hut would cost $170, and the same model I'm trying to fix isn't being sold anymore, so I can't just buy another pair.

Can someone please, please give me some advice on how to replace the lens without snapping them.
This sucks so much.
