Default Wayfarer II help!

Hello - I found a pair of Wayfarer II's at a vintage store. I was told Wayfarer II were made in Italy or China but NOT USA, and here they are stamped USA right on the right frame. On the left ear pad is "L1724" (which means they are black), but right next to that is stamped "YRAS". I cannot find any information on what YRAS means. On the front right part of the fram on top of the lens is a tiny B&L stamp. These are obviously vintage...but are they fake vintage. So...
1) Were Wayfarer 2's made in USA?
2) What does the YRAS stamp mean?
3) How old are they (what year made)?
4) Rarity? Value, if in good shape?

Thank you for your time and help.
