Yes, just bring the frame to your Eye Doctor, or the store you buy your glasses from, and they should be able to fit a prescription sun-lense into the frame that you want.

you can get sunglasses with a prescription, depending on the shape of the lens. If the lens is curved likehttp://www.rachelstyle.org/images/Ray-Ban%20Wayfarer%20sunglasses.jpgwill work just fine.but sunglasses that wrap around and look like this won't work.http://www.okokchina.com/Files/uppic58/sunglasses_%20reading%20glasses_%20optical%20frame 774.jpg

Online
There are many places online that sell prescription sunglasses. I think some of them limit how powerful the prescription can be, so if your prescription is too high some sunglasses won't work.

Places where you can buy prescription sunglasses
Hey,
I have never purchased prescription sunglasses, but can't you purchase them on any of the main sunglasses websites?
www.eyeglasses.com
www.goggles4u.com
www.eyebuydirect.com
They probably won't be too expensive.

Definitely yes! Getting prescription glasses tinted and adding the UV coating would made a pair of perfect sunglasses that protect and correct your vision at the same time.
Tint is the permanent colors added to your lenses, making your eyeglasses a pair of prescription sunglasses.
Another option is Photochromic, those lens darkens when exposed to the sunlight, and resumes clear when wearer is indoors. This option makes your eyeglasses a perfect pair of prescription sunglasses while outdoors.
The tint colors vary from green ,brown ,yellow, gray ,purple ,red . 80% is the darkest and 20% is the lightest.

You can get prescription for sunglasses as there are different types of lenses available in sunglasses as well. Depending on the kind of lenses you can choose your sunglasses.
