Ray-Ban vs Persol sizing help

Hi guys,
I have a pair of Ray-Ban 3025 aviators in 58mm that seem to fit me right, and I've become interested in the Persol 714s which come in 52 and 54. However, from what I've read they are large glasses and most people seem to like the 52s.

But could anyone chime in and help me decide? I do have a BIG HEAD but not the biggest, and like I say these 58mm aviators seem to fit fine. Should I go with 52mm or 54mm Persol 714s? Thanks!

I was wondering do you have a preference when it comes to the lenses of Persols and Ray Ban's. I really like Persol sunglasses, but I don't know much about them.
