Wearing sunglasses indoors?
Now that "sunglass season" has finally arrived (at least in the us...), I find Ive been wearing my maui jim's that I got for graduation almost all the time, its like an addiction..
Anyways Ive been wearing them indoors as well lately, and while some people comment on how nice they are, others think I look stupid wearing sunglasses indoors. Is it common practice to wear sunglasses indoors, at least when its bright outside?? And is it at all bad for your eyes? My mother told me that it damages your iris or something like that, anyone know if this is true? thanks.

I'm not for certain, but I would say... the lighter the lens (for indoors) the better. The darker they are, the more you might have to squint a little to see.
Also, if you can choose photochromic lenses (change with the intensity of UV light by turning darker when outdoors and lighter when indoors) for the ones you plan to wear indoors, you would be A-OK.

I have a few pairs of lens' with that indoor-outdoor adjustment thing (forgot what they're exactly called). Those work great when I'm heading indoors because they reduce the darkness of the lens, but still allow for style and shade.
Really depends on what kind of a look you're looking for...

Not to offend you, but wearing sunglasses indoors
is not good. Your mom is factual with what she has
told you. It would really damage your eyesight.
Because it is already dark inside different places, then
you're still wearing sunglasses. Just wear those sunglasses
if it is really needed.

Anyway Ive been assuming them inside recently, and while some people say how nice it is, other than I look pudden-head to wear sunglasses inside. Is this a common practice to wear the sunglasses inside, at least when it's sunny? And it's risky for your eyes? My mother distinguished me that it hurts your iris or something, anyone know if this is true? thank you.

I have a a couple of matches of lens' with that indoor-outdoor modification thing forgot what they're precisely named. Those work great when I'm heading indoors because they reduce the darkness of the lens, but still allow for style and inferiority.
