Default Ray-ban Polarized Question

Hi there,

I bought a polarized Ray-ban sunglasses, and it is my first polarized one. I read that it's supposed to reduce glare and reflection on surfaces but mine is not as far as I can tell. It does when I turn the sunglasses 90 degree (hold it vertically) but not when in normal position.
These are two photos, the first is holding it normally and you can see the reflection of the curtains on the window, the second is when I hold it vertically. Is that normal or is it a faulty with my sunglasses?

hmmm....

Polarized sunglasses filter horizontal glare by default (when worn)... at least my Serengetis do. Have you tried checking if they cut glare from water reflections, e.g., ocean, lake, pool? That would confirm that the glare on your window glass is "vertical" and that your sunglasses are as designed, as I suspect here.

Else, it would mean somehow the filter was applied improperly, but I would be very surprised if that is the case.

ray ban polarized is my favorite one. Once upon a time, a man uses ray ban design to tatoo a pair of sunglasses on his face. He is a really crazy man.
