Question Robert Downey Jr. "Sherlock Holmes" Sunglasses...

I just went to go see "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", great movie! But in one of the scenes Robert Downey Jr. (Sherlock) was walking through the city and he was wearing these odd pair of sunglasses whose glass lens part bent at a 90 degree angle and then had the temple attached. I would like to know if these are real and who makes them and what is the name of this type of sunglasses... here's a really, really, rough sketch of what the sunglasses look like...
