Guys, in my thinking one can always find affordable sunglasses that will not harm the eyesight and provide good protection from UV.

I think; lots of people purchase cheap sunglasses. Cheaply made sunglasses allow UV rays to keep streaming directly into the eyes. The eyes are artificially fooled into opening up more to allow more light in.

depends on what you are going to use them for. If you are going to use them in conjunction with an activity where safety glasses are needed then yes.

And you only get one pair. Look at it as an speculation in your health and future and don't skim. If you wear prescription lenses, you could probably get a pretty sweet pair of shades paid for by assurance.
